Artist Huan Donghuai visits Beijing Chang'an International Club

 

On September 17 , contemporary ink painting artist Huan Donghuai visited the Beijing Chang'an International Club and had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Chen Feng, Chairman of Chang'an International Holdings Group, and Ms. Wang Jia, President of Chang'an International Club.

       Both parties discussed how culture and art can empower business, conducted in-depth exchanges on the development of club culture, and reached a consensus and a preliminary agreement on cooperation.

Huan Donghuai stated, "The open and inclusive spirit of Chang'an during the Tang Dynasty remains a valuable asset for building a culturally strong nation today. As a high-end platform connecting culture and commerce, the Chang'an International Club should become an important window showcasing the charm of Chinese culture. This view aligns perfectly with the club's strategic vision of a cultural path."

Chen Feng stated, "Mr. Huan Donghuai uses traditional ink painting to express the thoughts of the times. Each painting has a profound theme. It may seem relaxed and rustic, but it is actually thought-provoking. Chang'an International Club is a high-end social platform that we have created by bringing together elites from all walks of life. It is a high-end cultural space where one can appreciate Chang'an sauce-flavored liquor and engage in dialogue with the 'A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains' painting."

Wang Jia stated, "The club will host more cultural and artistic exchange activities in the future. We not only provide top-notch business space, but also aim to become a source of cultural and artistic innovation."

During a break in the exchange, Huan Donghuai spontaneously created a piece of calligraphy and presented it to the Beijing Chang'an International Club.

Brief introduction of visiting guest artist Huan Donghuai:

Mr. Huan Donghuai, a native of Wuhu, Anhui Province, is a guest at the Jiuyang Academy. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a contracted artist of the China Cultural Relics Protection Foundation, a director of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang Painting Academy, and the host of a column in the Beijing-based magazine "Art State." He studied under the renowned painter Professor Zhu Xiuli. In 1996 , he was elected vice chairman of the Anhui Provincial Youth Artists Association, and in 2004 , he was elected vice president of the Anhui Zhongshan Painting Academy. He previously served as associate professor in the Art Department of Wanxi University and deputy director of the Cultural and Art Center of Wanxi University.

Huan Donghuai's paintings are profound in their themes and meanings. His most representative series, "Words of Warning to the World," depicts a number of old men in different poses and with different expressions, prompting viewers to reflect on the joys of life and the value of existence.
